After selecting an amount, BTCPay Server will generate an invoice that is valid for 15 minutes.
Lightning payments confirm instantly
On-chain payments are considered complete after 6 confirmations, which usually takes approximately 10-20 minutes, but could take hours if the network is busy.
If an on-chain payment does not confirm within 24 hours, the invoice may be returned and considered unpaid.
